نيويورك - كشف الإدعاء الفدرالي فـي بروكلين (نيويورك)، الجمعة الماضي، عن اعتقال لبنانيين اثنين بناء على تهم أميركية بأنهما شاركا فـي مخطط مزعوم لمساعدة «حزب الله» على غسل أموال مخدرات ولتمرير آلاف الأسلحة والأجزاء العسكرية إلى مجموعات إجرامية فـي لبنان وإيران، وذلك بعد أن تم الإيقاع بهم من قبل عميل سري.
ومثلت إيمان القبيسي (50 عاماً من بيروت) أمام محكمة بروكلين، يوم الجمعة الماضي، واحتجزت دون كفالة بعد اعتقالها بأتلانتا بتهم التآمر للقيام بغسيل أموال والتآمر للإتجار فـي أسلحة غير مرخصة. أما المتهم الآخر وهو جوزيف أسمر، وعمره 42 عاماً، اعتقل فـي باريس بناء على مذكرة أميركية ومتهم بالتآمر لغسيل أموال.
وقال الادعاء إن اعتقالهما أعقب عملية دامت لعامين. وقد تم الإيقاع بالمتهمين بواسطة عميل سري من دائرة مكافحة المخدرات تخفى وراء شخصية تاجر مخدرات، وقام بتسجيل محادثات مع قبيسي وأسمر، يزعمان فـيها أن لديهما اتصالات مع «حزب الله» وأنهما قادران على اتمام صفقات مخدرات وأسلحة وذخيرة مع الحزب الذي تصنفه الخارجية الأميركية كمنظمة إرهابية، إضافة الى علاقتهما بأشخاص آخرين فـي لبنان وفرنسا قادرين على غسيل الأموال.
وكشف الادعاء أن القبيسي عبرت أيضاً عن رغبتها فـي بيع أجزاء طائرات لإيران رغم العقوبات الأميركية التي تحظر هذا البيع، وحاولت القبيسي الضغط للإسراع فـي توفـير قطع الطيران قبل رفع الحظر عن إيران للتمكن من تحقيق أرباح أعلى.
ومن جانبه، زعم أسمر أنه محام له اتصالات ببنوك فـي أوروبا والشرق الأوسط تمكنه من غسيل أي مبلغ مالي وكان بوسعه أيضا استخدام اتصالاته بـ«حزب الله» لتأمين توصيل شحنات المخدرات.
وقال الإدعاء إن المتهمين تآمروا لغسل ثمانية ملايين دولار مزعومة لصالح تجار مخدرات مزعومين فـي أميركا الجنوبية والوسطى، وذلك بعد أن نجحا بغسيل مبلغ ٤٠٠ ألف دولار قام بتوفـيره العميل السري مدعياً أنه من أموال المخدرات.
