واشنطن - كشف تقرير أجراه خبراء أكاديميون ونشر الثلاثاء الماضي أن ما يقرب من 300 أميركي يؤيدون تنظيم «داعش» الإرهابي على الشبكة العنكبوتية.
وقال برنامج «جامعة جورج واشنطن» حول التطرف فـي دراسته إن «عدد الأميركيين الآخرين الذين يتلقون بطريقة سلبية دعاية داعش هم عدة آلاف، ولكن ليس بالضرورة هم أنصار ناشطون لهذا التنظيم».
وأوضح التقرير أن موقع «تويتر» هو «المنصة» الأكثر استخداماً على نطاق واسع من قبل الأنصار الأميركيين لـ«داعش»، مضيفاً أن الناشطين الأميركيين فـي «داعش» والمتعاطفـين مع هذا التنظيم أيضاً يستخدمون عددا من الوسائل الاجتماعية، بدءا من المنتديات المفتوحة مثل «فـيسبوك»، و«غوغل بلس»، إضافة إلى استخدام تطبيقات الرسائل السرية «كيك» و«تلغرام».
ولفتت الدراسة إلى أن الناشطين الأميركيين فـي «داعش» ساعدوا فـي صياغة «ابتكارات فريدة» فـي الرسائل العسكرية. وتمكن هذه الخطوة الناشطين من «تقديم حسابات جديدة مؤيدة لـ«داعش»، وتعزيز الحسابات المعلقة سابقا، واستعادة الحسابات التي تم توقيفها».
وأشار معدو التقرير إلى أنه رغم تعليق السلطات الأميركية كل الحسابات المرتبطة بـ«داعش» على وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي، إلا أن بعض النشطاء اعتبر هذه الخطوة بمثابة «وسام شرف».
وذكر التقرير أن مشغلي الحسابات التي تم إيقافها بدأوا بإنشاء حسابات جديدة، عبر استخدام أسماء مختلفة عن الاسم المستخدم سابقاً، وذلك «فـي غضون ساعات» من عملية التعليق.
وقال الباحث لورينزو فـيدينو، أحد المشاركين فـي هذا البحث، إن إحصاءات مكتب التحقيقات الفدرالي (أف بي آي) تشير إلى أن السلطات الأميركية تجري تحقيقات فـي 900 حالة متعلقة بالإرهاب فـي جميع الولايات الأميركية.
ووجهت السلطات الأميركية لـ 71 فرداً تهماً ترتبط بـ«داعش» منذ آذار (مارس) 2014، ضمنهم 51 شخصاً تم اعتقالهم عام 2015.
