نيويورك – قالت صحيفة «بزنيس إنسايدر» الأميركية إن شركة «غوغل» واحدة من أكثر الشركات إنفاقاً في العالم من أجل إطعام موظفيها. ونقلت الصحيفة الأميركية تصريحات عن «نيت كيلر» رئيس الطهاة السابق في «غوغل» قوله إن الشركة كانت في 2008 تنتج نحو 40 ألف وجبة مجانية يوميًا. وقال كيلر إن «غوغل» تنفق ما يصل إلى مليون دولار أميركي شهرياً لإطعام موظفيها، وما تقدر قيمته بـ80 مليون دولار سنوياً. وأشار كبير الطهاة إلى أن الشركة كانت تحرص على أن يكون طعام موظفيها من أفضل وأفخر الأطعمة في «وادي السليكون» – المدينة التي تتواجد بها معظم الشركات التكنولوجية العملاقة في أميركا. وتابع كيلر قائلاً: «نحن كنا نقدم طعاماً أكثر جودة مما هو متوقعاً، رغم أن شركتي تويتر وفيسبوك يقدمان أطعمة مجانية مذهلة أيضا، ولكننا أيضا نقدم طعاماً صحياً ساعد الموظفين على العمل». وقال إن المطعم الرئيسي الخاص بـ«غوغل» كان يعمل فيه نحو 675 طاهٍ متخصصاً، ما يجعله واحداً من أكبر مطابخ الشركات في العالم.
