أظهرت مؤشرات صدرت الأسبوع الماضي نموا طفيفا للاقتصاد الأميركي رغم ارتفاع معدل البطالة، والقلق بشأن أزمة الدين الأوروبي. ونما نشاط المصانع الأميركية بوتيرة أسرع من المتوقع في أيلول (سبتمبر) مع زيادة الإنتاج والتوظيف فيها، في أحدث علامة على صمود قطاع التصنيع رغم ضعف النمو الاقتصادي. وقال معهد إدارة التوريدات إن مؤشره لنشاط المصانع في الولايات المتحدة زاد إلى 51,6 في الشهر الماضي، مقارنة مع 50,6 نقطة في آب (أغسطس). وكان أيلول الشهر السادس والعشرين على التوالي الذي يشهد نموا في القطاع. كما زاد مؤشر التوظيف في المصانع إلى 53,8 الشهر الماضي من 51,8 في آب، في حين ارتفع مؤشر الإنتاج بالمصانع إلى 51,2 نقطة من 48,6 نقطة. وبالرغم من صدور هذه المؤشرات، استمر تراجع الأسهم الأميركية طوال الأسبوع الماضي بسبب مخاوف المستثمرين من آثار أزمة الدين الأوروبي.
