أنهت عملاق التكنولوجيا، “غوغل”، المفاوضات مع أحد أكبر شركات صناعة الهواتف المتنقلة في الصين، “موتورولا”، في صفقة بلغت قيمتها 12,5 مليار دولار. وعينت شركة “غوغل” بشكل رسمي، الثلاثاء الماضي، دينيس وودسايد، بمنصب المدير التنفيذي لشركة “موتورولا”، وذلك خلفا للرئيس التنفيذي الحالي سانجاي جها. وسوف يساعد الاستحواذ على “موتورولا”، شركة “غوغل” في تحسين برنامج تشغيل الهواتف الذي تنتجه “أندرويد”، وهو ما يعني المزيد من المنافسة لجهاز “آي فون”، الذي تنتجه شركة “آبل” الأميركية. وقالت وزارة التجارة الصينية في بيان على موقعها على الانترنت، إنه وكجزء من الموافقة، يتعين على “غوغل” ضمان أن إصدارات برامج “أندرويد” هي مفتوحة ومجانية على مدى السنوات الخمس المقبلة.
