ديربورن، ديترويت – خاص “صدى الوطن”بالتزامن مع الاحتفاليات بـ”يوم القدس العالمي” في العالم الإسلامي الذي يقام يوم الجمعة الأخيرة من شهر رمضان، انطلقت للمرة الأولى مسيرة سيارات، يوم الجمعة الماضي، وجابت مدينتي ديربورن وديترويت.
وظهرت اليافطات والصور والأعلام الفلسطينية على السيارات التي تجوب حلقة تصل وسط مدينة ديترويت إلى جامعة “وين ستايت” ومدينة ديربورن، واستمرت تلك المسيرة لأكثر من ساعتين، بهدف التعريف والتذكير بحقوق الشعب الفلسطيني في الحرية والاستقلال.
وكان المشاركون في المسيرة قد التقوا عند “هيملوك بارك” في ديربورن قبل أن يتوجهوا بسياراتهم إلى وسط مدينة ديترويت، جاذبين أنظار المتفرجين في الشوارع الذين لوحوا لهم بإيديهم واضاؤوا “إشارات السلام” لأسطول السيارات المكون من حوالي 225 سيارة، بنسبة إقبال من المشاركين فاقت بثلاثة أضعاف ما توقعه المنظمون لهذه المسيرة.
وقال سعيد ناجي أحد أعضاء اللجنة المنظمة “لقد استخدمنا فكرة جديدة لتوعية الناس بقضية تعتبر قضية عالمية، إنه يعني الكثير للمسلمين أن المظلومين في فلسطين يقارعون الطغاة الصهاينة، والمسألة المهمة هي إعلام الناس بهذا الأمر”.
من ناحيته، قال علي علي، وهو من المنظمين للمسيرة أيضا: “لقد آن الأوان أن نستيقظ جميعا وأن نأخذ موقفا موحدا ضد الصهيونية العالمية والهيمنة العالمية والقمع.. اليوم الفلسطينيون هم الضحية وغدا يمكن أن يكون أي شعب آخر”.
ونوه رئيس اتحاد الطلاب العرب الأميركيين في جامعة “وين ستايت” علي بيضون إلى أن نسبة الإقبال الكبيرة من المشاركين تدلل على أن الوعي والإدراك بهذه القضية يكبر ويزداد.
وقال “إن حقيقة أن عددا كبيرا من الطلاب والشباب يشاركون في هذه المسيرة هو شهادة لجيلنا الجديد.. وهي تعني أنهم على معرفة بما يجري ويريدون أن يبدوا مواقفهم، كما أن فكرة التظاهرة السيارة هي فكرة عظيمة لأنها أعطتنا الفرصة للوصول إلى الكثير من الناس”.
